Brent and his crew did an excellent job creating a new entry way to my home. The work was done very quickly and under budget with very little disruption to my family. It went so well that we had him refinish a bathroom too!. Thanks Brent for the excellent work.

Nice people but not the best job. After finishing the job I asked them to come back to repair a couple spots that didn't look right which they gladly did. However, I finally had to just do it myself to get the results I wanted. After having the ceilings painted by another painter ( two coats in addition to primer) you can see stripes in the texture. These stripes are the result of the texture being applied unevenly. I guess when they said they were having a little problem with the texture gun that day they weren't kidding. Also, they were extremely careless when applying the texture and only used a protective paper to cover the top foot and half of the walls. They did send a cleaning crew to clean up but they missed several walls and we have had to wipe down all the rooms again and wash all the screens and windows.
I had popcorn ceilings removed and a knock-down texture applied.
For $2,600 I expected a lot more. I do not recommend Newaygo Painting & Drywall Repair for textured ceiling work.
Perhaps Brett and his crew are overwhelmed with work but there was no follow through on the commitment to provide a quote. Brett shared with me the date and time he would be stopping by to take measurements but he never showed up and never returned the voicemails I left to reach him. This company was recommended by friends, word of mouth recommendations go a long way and cost nothing.
